04.14.16 - The Louisiana Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) received approval from the federal Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) for additional ZIP codes in Franklin Parish that were impacted by recent floods to be added to the Disaster Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (DSNAP). Beginning Thursday, April 14, Franklin parish ZIP codes 71243, 71249, 71336 and 71378 may apply for disaster food benefits.
Avoyelles Parish ZIP Code 71351 Added to Week's DSNAP

04.12.16 -The federal Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) has approved an additional parish for the Disaster Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (DSNAP) beginning today, Tuesday, April 12 through Friday, April 15. Residents living in the communities of Brouillette, Vick, and Center Point in Avoyelles Parish ZIP code 71351 and who were impacted by the March floods may be eligible to receive disaster food assistance.
