RESCHEDULED: DSS Best Practices December Web Cast Postponed to January

The Department of Children & Family Services (DSS) Web cast originally scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday, December 9, has been rescheduled until January. The speaker, Dr. Katherine Magnuson, is unable to participate in tomorrow's presentation because of severe weather in the Midwest.

The Web cast will now take place on Wednesday, January 13, 2010 from 10:30-11:30 a.m.

All participants who have already registered for tomorrow's Web cast will not have to register again. DSS will send a reminder next month, along with another chance to register for the Web cast for anyone who has not already done so.

Dr. Magnuson is an Assistant Professor of Social Work at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and member of Harvard University's National Forum on Early Childhood Program Evaluation.

The Web cast is the fourth in a series of monthly Web casts and part of the agency's efforts to foster leadership and innovation in social service delivery, increase savings and efficiencies and improve client outcomes.
